What we like
The long reach and two pivot joints let you place light precisely and swing it away when you are done. The clamp handles desktops up to about two inches thick and keeps the base off your work surface.
Where it falls short
Cheaper versions use stiff joints that loosen over a year, and a bare bulb head can reflect on a glossy monitor if you aim it carelessly.
