About Desk Haven
Desk Haven exists because home office gear is bought once and lived with for years, and most of the advice online is written by people who never unboxed the thing.
We are a small team of remote workers who got tired of guessing. Every desk gets loaded and wobble-tested every height. Every chair gets an eight-hour day. Every monitor gets measured for brightness and uniformity before we write a sentence. When something popular is not worth the money, we say so.
How we test
- Minimum two weeks of daily use before publication.
- Measurements published as numbers: lift capacity, wobble at max height, lux, decibels, PPI.
- Assembly time recorded with a stopwatch, because it matters more than the spec sheet admits.
- Rankings re-checked every quarter; discontinued products are removed, not quietly re-linked.
How we're funded
Readers fund this site through Amazon affiliate commissions. It costs you nothing extra and it does not shape what we recommend — the full details are in our affiliate disclosure.

Measured, not guessed
Wobble, lux, decibels and PPI — we publish the numbers.
