Condenser mics sound great in a treated studio and terrible in a spare bedroom. The MV7+ is a dynamic mic with a tight pickup pattern, so it hears your voice and much less of your room.
The onboard real-time denoise is the upgrade over the original MV7 and it is effective on fan noise and mechanical keyboards. USB-C for calls now, XLR later if you get serious about podcasting.
You need to be close — within about 6 inches — which means a boom arm rather than a desk stand.
