Most webcams apply aggressive auto-exposure that makes you look flat. The Facecam MK.2 gives you manual control and a fixed-focus f/2.0 lens, so once you set it up for your room it looks the same every day.
There is no built-in mic, which is deliberate — pair it with the MV7+ or any dedicated mic. Onboard memory means your settings travel with the camera to any machine.
1080p60 rather than 4K is the right call for calls; the bitrate goes into a cleaner image rather than more pixels.
