Why it made the list
Most people abandon standing desks because their feet hurt, not because the desk is wrong. A proper anti-fatigue mat changes that: the cushioned surface keeps your legs subtly active instead of locked, which is the whole point.
Safco's mat uses self-skinning polyurethane rather than cheap foam, so it resists compression set — it will not flatten into a pancake after a few months.
Living with it
At 20" x 30" it covers a normal standing footprint without dominating the room, and the bevelled edges stop chair casters catching on it. Wipe-clean surface, no fabric to stain.
If you stand more than an hour a day, this is the cheapest comfort upgrade in your setup.
