If you work from a laptop, this monitor is the single best quality-of-life purchase you can make. The 90W USB-C upstream charges most 14" laptops while carrying video and driving the built-in Ethernet and USB hub.
IPS Black is the real story on image quality: roughly 2000:1 contrast instead of the usual 1000:1, so text on dark backgrounds looks far less washed out. Colour accuracy out of the box was within Delta-E 2 in our checks — good enough for photo work that is not print-critical.
At 31.5" and 4K you get 140 PPI. Text is clean at 150% on Windows and at a scaled resolution on macOS, and the extra surface area fits two full documents side by side without squinting.
